The University of Jordan (UJ) Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center held a training workshop today on Operations Management as part of its continuous efforts to enhance institutional performance and promote a culture of quality and excellence.
The workshop was conducted by the Vice Dean of the School of Business for Administrative Affairs and Development, Prof. Abdel-Hakim Akhoershaideh, and attended by a group of UJ’s academic and administrative staff.
Key topics included the theoretical and practical foundations of operations management, documentation and analysis of institutional procedures, and tools for measuring and improving operations. The workshop also emphasised the importance of continuous improvement and quality assurance in academic and administrative services.
Concluding the event, participants underscored the importance of integrating operations management into the university’s strategic planning and institutional development framework as a fundamental element in achieving UJ’s vision for greater competitiveness and leadership at the national and regional levels.
