Two distinguished scholars from the University of Jordan (UJ) were honored with the inaugural Mulham Award for Knowledge and Learning during the first edition of the Mulham Summit in Amman, held under the patronage of Minister of Youth Raed Al-Adwan.
Dr. Sumaya Daoud from the School of Foreign Languages received the award in the Education and Knowledge category in recognition of her mentoring initiatives and her knowledge-based content that supports university students, particularly young women aspiring to pursue graduate studies. Her work has been instrumental in developing research and academic planning skills while inspiring confidence in future educational and professional pathways.
Dr. Dana Qaqish from the School of Business was recognized in the Marketing category for her impactful professional content in the field of marketing and her role in raising awareness at both local and regional levels.
Both scholars expressed pride in receiving the award, describing it as a strong incentive to continue their academic and research contributions and to create meaningful content that serves students and the wider community while showcasing the University of Jordan’s standing.
The Mulham Award is the first of its kind in Jordan, celebrating creators whose digital content leaves a genuine and lasting impact on society, particularly on professional platforms such as LinkedIn, moving beyond the traditional metrics of numbers and followers.
Organized by Vibes Events, the Mulham Summit brought together more than 350 participants including content creators, institutions, and youth initiatives, highlighting stories of success and innovation while fostering a culture of recognition and knowledge sharing across the country.
