UJ School Of Business Obtains AACSB International Accreditation

The University of Jordan (UJ) School of Business has been awarded the international accreditation of AACSB. The School's 16 bachelors, master's, and doctoral programs are now internationally recognized.

Granted by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), UJ's School of Business is the first business school among public universities to obtain this international accreditation.

UJ President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, said this attainment constitutes an important milestone in the School's history, future, and aims toward internationalization.

Obeidat added that obtaining international accreditations comes as part of the UJ's efforts to build more effective partnerships and advanced standards, noting that obtaining international accreditations enables university graduates to compete in the labor market, locally and globally.

Dean of the School Prof. Ra'ed Masa'deh Bani Yaseen stressed that international accreditation means that the school has the resources, credentials, and commitment to provide a first-class education with a focus on the future, pointing out that only 5% of business schools in the world hold this accreditation.

AACSB International (AACSB) is a global nonprofit association that serves to connect academics with students and the job market and to create a generation of great leaders. Since 1916, it provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to over 1,900 member organizations and more than 1,000 accredited business schools worldwide.
