The Vice President of the University of Jordan for Humanities Faculties, Dr. Salama Al-Naimat, received in his office an Omani academic delegation from Al-Buraimi University College, Oman, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two parties in the academic fields.
The delegation included the Dean of the School, Dr. Yasser Fouad Selim, the Director of the Department of Financial Affairs at the School, Sultan Al-Kindi, and the Business Development Officer in the Office of the School President, Nasser Al-Nuaimi, accompanied by the former Dean of the School, Dr. Muhammad Farhan Al-Majali.
During the meeting, which took place in the presence of the Director of the International Affairs Unit, Dr. Hadeel Yassin, and the Director of the Financial Affairs Unit, Dr. Hamza Al-Mawali, the two sides reviewed possible paths of cooperation and coordination between the two parties, including the exchange of faculty members, researchers and students, the development of programs, and the holding of conferences and joint academic events.
Al-Naimat welcomed the building of effective joint cooperation between the two sides in all academic fields whose impact is touched by the two parties on the ground, pointing to the depth of relations between the two friendly countries.
The delegation also met with the Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Raed Bani Yassin, and faculty members at the school. They toured the university campus, during which they visited the Antiquities Museum, the Jordanian Folklore Museum, and the Library Unit.
