As a part of the annual training program for faculty members at the School of Business at the University of Jordan, the school conducted an online seminar on Digitalization and open educational resources. The seminar featured Dr. Khalaf Al-Tell, Associate Professor
And Director of Special Projects at the Modern college of business and science in Oman.
The session covered various topics exploring the significance of digitalization in education and the utilization of open educational resources within higher learning institutions. Attendees gained insights into various types and real-world examples of open educational resources, alongside an examination of copyright considerations and best practices when integrating these resources into curricula.
The Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Raed Masadeh Bani Yaseen emphasized the institution's commitment to remaining up-to-date with contemporary teaching methodologies. He underscored the pivotal role of technology in enhancing students' learning experiences and expanding educational possibilities.
In her turn, the assistant dean for quality assurance affairs Dr. Rima Al Hasan, stressed the timeliness and relevance of the seminar. She highlighted its significance within the context of the school's ongoing efforts to refine its programs and curricula in alignment with current market demands.
