The Business School Represented by the Marketing Department, Hosted Eng. Muath Al-Faouri, the Founder and CEO of Astrolabe Company


The Business School at the University of Jordan, represented by the Marketing Department, hosted Eng. Muath Al-Faouri, the founder and CEO of Astrolabe Company for Tourism Investments, owner of the Astrolabe brand, and which has branches in Jordan and Turkey, to present his success story in establishing his project and its launch from the local to the global, and to present the idea of the next generation of competitiveness and its importance in the service sector.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Dean of the Business School, Prof. Raed Masaadeh Bani Yassin and a number of faculty members and students, Dr. Dana Qaqish emphasized the importance of hosting Jordanian youth as a role model, after which Al-Faouri presented his experience in establishing the Astrolabe Café, and the challenges he faced until the opening and the success of the project, and the importance of marketing as a key success factor for Astrolabe Cafe.

Al-Faouri talked to the students of the service marketing course about the importance of understanding the service environment and providing products that meet the dynamic needs of customers in the field of hospitality.

He also provided a set of advices to students that will benefit them in their next career path, including the importance of competitive advantage in creating creative and innovative renewable projects that are compatible with the market, indicating that creative thinking and innovation are two concepts that constitute a pillar and basis for success in business and a means of development in the current era.
