The University of Jordan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jordanian Economic Forum for the purposes of cooperation in educational and research fields. The MOU was signed by the President of the University of Jordan, Professor Dr. Nathir Obeidat, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Economic Forum, Dr. Khair Abu Saileek. The memorandum aims to activate cooperation regarding the exchange of researchers and experts for teaching, delivering lectures, conducting joint research and studies, organizing joint workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as exchanging publications, books, journals, and research findings. Additionally, it includes collaboration in the field of field training for students of School of Business at the University of Jordan.
A discussion session was also held as part of the Economic Salon activities with the President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nathir Obeidat, in the presence of several vice presidents, deans, as well as experts, specialists, and individuals interested in economic and educational matters.
In this regard, the Dean of the School, Dr. Bani Yaseen, expressed the college’s pride in this strategic collaboration, which will enable faculty members to exchange teaching experiences, deliver lectures, and collaborate on scientific research. He also highlighted the opportunity for expanding cooperation for students in the field of practical application.
Dr. Bani Yaseen also confirmed that the school will work on activating the terms of the memorandum in a way that serves the needs of the faculty members and students at the school and the university.
It is worth noting that the Jordanian Economic Forum was established in 2019 as an intellectual platform that continuously monitors the key economic, monetary, and competitive indicators of all sectors of the Jordanian economy. Its approach promotes dialogue and partnership between the public and private sectors, aiming for sustainable, inclusive growth that positively impacts citizens and society. The forum also addresses current economic challenges, including poverty and unemployment.
