Dr. Rima Wahid Al Hasan, Assistant professor of operations management & Innovation at the department of business administration, school of business, and her co-author have received “The Chris Voss best paper award” for our paper on the role of managers’ mental frames on the use of Process improvement in new product development processes at the European operations management association annual conference (EurOMA) conference 2021. The award is sponsored by Emerald Group Publishing. EurOMA is an international network of academics and practitioners who are interested in developing the field of operations management on a continual basis. In 2021, the EurOMA annual conference brought together over 350 participants from 34 countries around the world with 311 paper presentations. Entries for the award were judged on their “contribution towards the advancement of theory and practice of Operations Management”.
