Master of Business Informatics / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

At the successful completion of the Master Program in Business Informatics the student should be able to :
1. Identify and analyze information technology requirements for business informatics applications and decisions .
2. Communicate the outcomes of technical analyses to non-technical business professionals .
3. Show commitment and interest in learning and continuing education; investigative, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, planning, oral and written presentations, and team working skills in the field of Business Informatics .
4. Evaluate critically, analyze, and interpret information to identify and solve business problems as related to the strategic application of information systems .
5. Adhere to the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities while practicing real-life work in different situations within organizations .
6. Demonstrate and exercise decision-making in complex and unpredictable situations, and the ability to work within a team in an interdisciplinary and multi-cultural environment .
7. Develop the skills required for self-managed and continuing professional development and demonstrate a deep and systematic understanding of the role and application of Information Technology and automation in professional practice .
8. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the different stages of the research cycle and carry out the theoretical and empirical parts required for completing research work in the field of Business Informatics​
