The school of business holds its first training session on funding research projects through Erasmus plus +

As a part of the training plan targeting faculty members in the school of business at the University of Jordan, on Thursday 29th of December, the school of business conducted a training session on funding research projects through Erasmus plus in collaboration with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center. The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering and Dean (President) of the Jordan National College of Technology.

The session covered several topics including how to apply for research and scientific projects funding opportunities, an introduction to supporting projects through Erasmus+ grants, and covered various examples of projects that have previously succeeded by obtaining the required funds. Open calls for research funding proposals in addition to potential collaboration opportunities were also discussed .

In turn, the Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Dr. Raed Masadeh Bani Yassin, confirmed that the school seeks to invite experts in various training fields to exchange their knowledge and experiences and open up potential opportunities for faculty members in conducting joint research projects. He added that the training session aligns with the School's main purpose of continuous improvement capabilities development which in turn is consistent with the strategic and executive plan of the university related to strengthening local, regional, and global partnerships.

Additionally, Dr. Rima Wahid Al Hasan, Assistant Dean for Quality Assurance Affairs, indicated that this training session is a part of a series of training and seminars to be held within the School of Business with the aim of capacity building and development of the skills of faculty members as a part of the academic year 2022-2023 training plan, which includes multiple sessions related to research, teaching and community service aspects..

At the end of the session, Prof. Al-Salaymeh answered the audience's questions. And the dean of the School, Bani Yassin, handed the lecturer a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer on behalf of the School
