Master of Business Informatics / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

At the successful completion of the Master Program in Business Informatics the student should be able to:
1. Identify and analyze information technology requirements for business informatics applications and decisions.
2. Communicate the outcomes of technical analyses to non-technical business professionals.
3. Show commitment and interest in learning and continuing education; investigative, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, planning, oral and written presentations, and team working skills in the field of Business Informatics.
4. Evaluate critically, analyze, and interpret information to identify and solve business problems as related to the strategic application of information systems.
5. Adhere to the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities while practicing real-life work in different situations within organizations.
6. Demonstrate and exercise decision-making in complex and unpredictable situations, and the ability to work within a team in an interdisciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
7. Develop the skills required for self-managed and continuing professional development and demonstrate a deep and systematic understanding of the role and application of Information Technology and automation in professional practice.
8. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the different stages of the research cycle and carry out the theoretical and empirical parts required for completing research work in the field of Business Informatics
