Course Description :

This course introduces the core of modern portfolio theory. It starts with a general discussion of risk and return, and proceeds to asset allocation, portfolio optimization, capital assets pricing model (CAPM), and arbitrage pricing theory (APT). In addition, this course presents extensions of previous topics. These extensions include: evaluation of portfolio performance, international diversification, active portfolio management, and managing fixed income investments.
