A memorandum of understanding between Business School and Jordanian Microfinance Company ( Tamweelcom)

 
The University of Jordan, represented by Business School, has developed a framework of cooperative programs with the Jordanian Microfinance Company ( Tamweelcom), by the signing a memorandum (MoU)of understanding between the two parties.
The (MoU), signed by the Dean of the School of Business Dr. Fayez Haddad and the company's Executive Director General Ali Abdul-Jabbar, aims to develop academic cooperation between the two parties in a number of areas of mutual interest, and enhances the value of cooperation between national companies and the University  of Jordan. Which confirms the integration between the public and private sectors.
The (MoU), states that ( Tamweelcom) will train six graduates of the marketing department each year. For two consecutive months. Only two students will be trained at the same time of all participating students will be given a certificate upon completion of the training program.
The two parties agreed that this (MoU) will prepare students to move beyond the theoretical stage of education and integrate them into private sector environment. This will contribute to the improving of their skills and the developing of their experience that they gained during the years of study and enable them to apply this experience in practice
Dr. Zaid Obeidat, Head of Marketing, pointed out that this memorandum reflects the vision and efforts of the School and the Department in their efforts to develop the skills of graduates and provide them with the skills that qualify them for the labor market.
