The school of business organized a pitching session for entrepreneurial projects.

As a part of the University of Jordan's strategic and executive plan the School of Business, under the patronage of the Dean of the School, Prof. Dr. Raed Masadeh Bani Yaseen, students at the Services Marketing course presented a series of entrepreneurial projects aimed at addressing issues in the service sector in Jordan. The students, supervised by their instructor Dr. Dana Qaqish, presented a comprehensive project that covered aspects of the course addressing the problems faced by Jordanian citizens in the service sector. The students presented their projects in the presence of the evaluating committee, consisting of Dr. Ghadir Al-Khafash, the General Manager of the Education for Employment Foundation, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Zughoul, the Director and Founder of the Recycling for Education Foundation, in addition to Dr. Qaqish.

The committee members provided the students with guidance to develop their projects and move them to the stage of practical application. In particular, Dr. Khafash directed the students to the importance of promoting themselves through their presence on the LinkedIn platform and the significance of developing their skills. Mr. Al-Zughoul highlighted the importance of taking advantage of the opportunity to present their projects to the committee, enabling them to identify areas that need improvement and start working on them.

In his turn, the dean of the school of business, Prof. Raed Masadeh emphasized the importance of linking theoretical and practical aspects in teaching and the necessity of understanding current market requirements.

Dr. Qaqish stressed the importance of holding such events to encourage students to network with the local community and keep them informed of the developments in the job market through continuous interaction and communication with employers and entrepreneurs.

At the end of the presentation, Dr. Khafash and Mr. Al-Zughoul were honored for their efforts, and the names of the top three projects were announced in the presence of Dean Prof. Raed Bani Yaseen and Dr. Rami Al-Dweiri, the Head of the Marketing Department.

Third Place: Furry Cafe
