Professor Antonino Abruzzo, Professor of Economics and Advanced Statistical Analysis at the Italian University of Palermo, visited the school of business as part of a 24-hour training course in statistical analysis using the R software.

Professor Antonino Abruzzo, Professor of Economics and Advanced Statistical Analysis at the Italian University of Palermo, visited the school of business as part of a 24-hour training course in statistical analysis using the R software. The training course aimed at providing faculty with a solid foundation on the use of statistical analysis techniques using R program and its applications in the field of finance and business.

In turn, the Dean of the School, Prof. Raed Masa'deh Bani Yassin, emphasized that the school is keen in inviting experts in various training fields with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and enhancing academic capabilities and skills. He also indicated that the intensive training course comes in line with the school's plan for development and empowerment in various academic fields, including modern technological applications to enhance the teaching, learning and research process. The training course was also an opportunity for establishing international research cooperation and networking with universities and international researchers. Professor Antonino Abruzzo also welcomed the holding of more international research and training cooperations and exchanging knowledge and experiences.

In conclusion, the dean thanked Professor Antonino for his efforts in sharing his experiences with faculty members from the University of Jordan, while at the same time welcoming the organization of more specialized training courses that will reflect positively on the teaching and research processes.​
