The School of Business organized a scientific symposium on small and medium-sized enterprises and their role in the growth of the national economy.

The Dean of the school, Dr. Raed Masa'deh Bani Yassin, stressed the importance of establishing projects in the field of entrepreneurship, technological applications and e-business, which contribute to reducing unemployment, opening job opportunities and networking with the commercial, industrial and service sectors at the local, regional and international levels.

Entrepreneurship expert Mr. Sari Awad, founder of the Australian Education Center, gave a presentation on the factors of success and failure that must be taken into consideration when establishing entrepreneurial projects. The presentation included an explanation of the main reasons for the success and failure of many international projects in the first years of their work, how to avoid such difficulties, and how to successfully overcome the first five years to ensure the continuity of the project.

The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Noura Musa Al-Lawzi, stated that the school's commitment in organizing extracurricular activities for its students. The meeting included interventions from faculty members and answers to students and attendees' inquiries.
